How accurate are the cost estimates?
Fuel economy comes from the EPA ratings, fuel prices from the Energy Information Administration, price growth from the BLS consumer price indexes and maintenance from the AAA Your Driving Costs study. Depreciation is our own estimate and is labeled as one. Your result lists every assumption with its source. Estimates are projections, not guarantees -- always verify incentive eligibility with the IRS and your state tax authority.
